Types of Backups
Full Backups: All selected files
Image Backup:
A complete backup of
all the occupied sectors
on a hard disk
Total Backup:
A backup of
all the files and folders
on a hard disk, including installed software
Partial Backup:
A backup of
selected files and folders
on a hard disk, such as all document files
Intermediate Backups: Changed files only
Differential Backup:
A backup that includes all new and modified files
since the last full backup
Incremental Backup:
A backup that includes all new and modified files
since the most recent full or incremental backup (whichever is later)
