Recordable CD and DVD drives:
To make a CD-R or CD-RW work more like a diskette or flash drive, format it with a
UDF packet writing
program, such as:
Roxio DLA
(Drive Letter Access)
Nero InCD
Sonic or IBM DLA
Warning:
On a CD-RW, performing a "Full Format" (vs. "Quick Format") can take up to
three hours
,depending on the speed of the drive and the size of your media.
